Why does the skate fitting process take 45-minutes?
Playing once a week or seven times a week, we know it’s important to have 
your skates fitting flawlessly. Each skate manufacturer offers different fits and in some cases each skate model has a different boot shape. Determining which brand and model fits you depends on the shape of your feet. We take the time to access the shape of your feet and then select which skate will fit you best.
True Customization
The process of first heating skates and then lacing them up to get a more comfortable fit has been done for years. This method is affective but sitting in a chair while your skates are warm is simply not enough. We use a combination of heat and air compression to achieve true customization. After heating your skates, you will then lace them on once more. Thereafter, you will put your feet in our specialized air fit chamber that compresses your skates around your feet, giving you a tighter, more comfortable customized fit. This skate fitting customization process is included in every skate purchased at West Star!
